On April 30 fifty young people were awarded with special premiums of Mogilev region executive committee in the social sphere for having achieved high results in their professional fields. 30 April, The keys from 49 new energy intensive tractors were handed by the chairman of Mogilev region executive committee Petr Rudnik to the heads of the region’s agricultural organizations. April, 26 held the meeting-requiem by the memorial sign “To Victims of Chernobyl”. The event was dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the disaster at the Chernobyl Power Station. The meeting gathered representatives of local authorities, the public, youth’s organizations, victims and the liquidators of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The minute of silence honoured the memory of the gone victims. The participants laid the flowers to the black marble gravestone supported by four chains and holding the engraving “To courage of the liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster”. April,24 started the religious procession to Our Lady of Belynichi Icon. The procession’s route is from Mogilev to Belynichi. The participants with a copy of the miracle-working image created in the XIX century on the metal will cover 40 km to arrive in Belynichi by night. The religious procession will finalize on April, 25 at the temple of Our Lady of Belynichi Icon. There are 10 images in this gallery

Mogilev region partook in the Republican subbotnik (community work day) on April 20. The population of the region worked on-the-jobs, cleaned and beautified all settlements, memorial complexes, parks, children recreation camps and other public or agricultural establishments. Representatives of Mogilev region executive committee and its organization departments worked in Mogilev and Bykhov. Civil servants partook in construction of surgical department of Mogilev emergency hospital.
