Mogilev region militiamen compiled nominal list of drunkards; the list and photos of drunkards have been sent to some rural shops. The people on the list are likely to reject claims of buying alcoholic drinks. The information was provided by Fedor Baleiko, head of the DIA of Mogilev region executive committee.
According to the source, hard drinking has still been one of the major reasons of committing crimes. The above-mentioned experiment aims at improving the situation. Militiamen compiled the list of drunkards, sent the list and respective photos to some shops of Shklov and Belynichi districts, and recommended not to sell alcoholic drinks to the people on the list. Since the experiment started none crime has been registered at the respective territory.
