Last Sunday combine operators Vitaly and Ivan Demidenko from “Slavgorodski” agricultural complex (Glussk district) were the first in Mogilev region to have harvested 2,000 tons of grain. The region’s governor Petr Rudnik and the head of the region’s agriculture and food supplies committee Oleg Chikida congratulated Vitaly and Ivan Demidenko and gave them valuable gifts.
The head of the region made special mention of the harvesting campaign in Glussk district. “We must have a 15%-increase in gross yield of grain comparing with that of the respective year”, - the governor considers. - “Last year we had 1,000,165 tons of grain; this year we are about to harvest 1,000,350 tons. The harvesting campaign is done at a high rate, and as soon as it’s completed, we’ll sum it up”.
Much preparatory work was done to conduct harvesting campaign within the shortest possible time. Thanks to the President’s decision to provide additional agricultural machinery, 196 new harvesters КZS-1218 are engaged into harvesting in Mogilev region. Thus, effectiveness of harvesting campaign is highly increased.
