August, 14 held the closing ceremony of the International Youth’s camp Bobruisk-2012. The event took place by the memorial complex “The Mound of Glory” in Sychkovo village, Bobruisk district. The information is provided by Olga Grek, the head of the Youth’s Affairs Department of the district executive committee.
Within the framework of the joint project of the German War Graves Commission and Bobruisk district executive committee 16 young people from Germany and 13 young Belarusians for 10 days maintained war graves, learnt facts from the history of Belarus, participated in volunteer and ecology events. The action “Chisty Bereg” (Clean Bank) included scavenging the territory by the lake not far from Tugolitsa, Bobruisk district. Young people scavenged several tons of rubbish. They also got acquainted with Bobruisk’s and the district’s sights, visited Gomel. Today young people are going to Minsk.
