Ineffectively used buildings in Mogilev region will be reconstructed into accommodation for rent. The proposition was made by the founder of JSC “Gazosilikat” Igor Rachitski during the meeting of the chairman of Mogilev region executive committee Petr Rudnik and the region’s business representatives dedicated to the problem of attracting investments into the region.

The third specialized building exhibition “House. Summer cottage. Design”, that will be held in Mogilev on 20-22 February, starts construction season in the region. The exhibition is an important event promoting the spread of information about the major achievements in the construction field, and introducing up-to-date construction materials and technologies.

230,000 sq.m. of housing will be built in Mogilev in 2013; it means 1.5-fold increase comparing with the previous year. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will loan “Mebelain” Company EUR5 mln to construct a furniture factory in Mogilev. “Mebelain” is controlled by the Lithuanian Company SBA, a largest furniture producer in the Baltic countries. “Mebelain” is a resident of the Free Economic Zone “Mogilev”.
