The branch of the BSEU - «EPAM» joint laboratory training specialists in SAP’s IT-technologies and software products was opened at Bobruisk branch of the Belarusian State Economic University. It has become the next stage in implementing fruitable cooperation between «EPAM Systems» and the BSEU.

Over 230 “stop-men” groups including 1,940 teachers, 1,100 parents and over 3,000 pupils work in Mogilev region. These groups together with state auto inspection officers are on duty by the schools located not far from the traffic area. In rush-hour they assist school children in crossing the road. The system of education in Mogilev region is stable, efficient and developing. Leonid Smotritsky, the head of the regional education office, stated the fact at the press-conference dedicated to the new school year issues. He proved it by striking facts.
The region is in active process of getting schools ready for a new school year. Br106 bln was allotted to repair regional schools. Sponsoring organizations and enterprises have also made a great contribution. By August, 20 special commissions of district executive committees must sign the acts of schools readiness to start a new school year. By today 70% of schools are ready to welcome pupils.

All first-year students of Mogilev State University of Food Technologies will receive electronic student cards looking like a chipped plastic card. Each card will store data about a student, including his or her passport record data.

Starting from September 1, 2012 schoolchildren of Mogilev Cadet School and Chaussy secondary school №2 will have opportunity to study at classes with advanced study of law. The educational establishments have reached the respective agreement with the Department of Internal Affairs of Mogilev region executive committee.

Mogilev region held centralized testing in Social Science without any breaches. Over 1,000 entrants took part in it.
On June, 20 almost 2.4 thousand school-leavers take centralized testing in chemistry. They are allowed to use simple calculators. Cribs and communication devices are strongly forbidden. Those who break the rules will be removed from the exam room to take exams next year only.

At Mogilev and Bobruisk universities six applicants were debarred from maths test for breaking centralized testing rules; it has become an unprecedented number since the testing campaign-2012 started.

Today over 4,000 young people of Mogilev region test their Belarusian language knowledge in the centralized testing. Tomorrow majority of school-leavers will take their Russian language testing – 11.6 thousand people. Russian beats the record of all 14 centralized testing subjects.

71 excellent school-leavers from Mogilev who deserved golden and silver medals, honors diplomas of specialized secondary education, as well as winners of the Republican school subjects’ contests and Olympiads got awards. The ceremony was held in Mogilev gymnasium №3 on June 8.

On May 15 Bobruisk hosts a trade fair of works of decorative and applied arts created by students of the region’s different art schools and study groups. The fair will also present agricultural production grown at schools’ and vocational colleges’ experimental plots.
