JSC “Belshina” and the Indian Company Shitij Commercial arrived at the agreement to deliver Belarusian tyres to India in 2013. Preliminary agreement was made during the visit of “Belshina” representatives to the 32nd Indian International Trade Fair. The interests of “Belshina” were represented by the trade house Beltyre Asia Pte Ltd (Singapore).

Mogilev region is the country’s leader in exporting pine and fir trees’ seedlings; the main importer of the seedlings is the Russian Federation. Thus, this autumn 1 mln pine and fir trees’ seedlings have already been exported to Russia. The year’s exports made up 12 mln trees (Br3.5 bln.).

The first consignment will be supplied to Georgia in August. During the trade fair, organized by the Belarusian manufacturers in July, prospective customers from Batumi highly appreciated cakes and cookies presented by “Mogilevhlebprom”. Having tasted 15 sorts of cakes and cookies, the Georgians admitted their original flavor, high quality and natural ingredients.

JSC “Granny’s Jar” renewed its dairy products delivery to Ukraine. Previously Ukraine’s Gosvetfitosluzhba (the State Vet Service) laid a temporary suspension on import of meat and dairy products from Belarus to Ukraine. Recent negotiations between Belarusian and Ukrainian officials cancelled the suspension in reference to 9 Belarusian importers including JSC “Granny’s Jar”.

According to the regional central statistical board, the region’s aggregate export in January-February of 2012 made up $359.4 mln, while import - $336.5 mln. Cost export volume increased almost by 25%, that of import – by 15.7%.

Over first six months of 2011 “Belshina” JSC made 2.2 times’ increase (comparing with the same period 2010) in its tyre export to the distant abroad.
Deliveries to the countries of the near abroad boosted by 18.3%. In general six months of 2011 made 1.4 times’ export increase. Selling in Belarus made 1.8 times’ growth.
Over six months of 2011 sales growth totaled 149.5% in money equivalent comparing with the same period 2010. Sales of trucks went up by 157.3%, agriculture machinery – by 141.3%, cars – by 134.4%.
“Belshina” JSC sells its products to the countries of the CIS, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, North America and South America.

Over six months 2011 (January-June) Mogilev “Olsa” Company increased its export by 40.3% comparing with the same period 2010 (over$7. 5mln). The information is provided by Vladimir Shutov, the chief of the Marketing Department of the company.
“Olsa” Company exports over 80% of its products. The main importers are partners from the Russian Federation. They make about 80% of the company’s export. Other partners represent Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan. This year deliveries to Ukraine and Azerbaijan have increased by 20% and 10% correspondingly. It is two times as much as to the target.

According to the Programme of social-economic development of Belarus in 2011 – 2015, signed by the Resolution No. 942 of the Council of Ministers of Belarus, JSC “Belshina” will open commodity distribution network in Australia in 2011-2012.
The project aims at increasing output and supply of auto components at both domestic and foreign markets. Toward this end the plant will certify its production process in compliance with international standards and requirements of companies producing vehicles. Besides, a holding including plants producing auto components will be established.

According to the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, production line of paper for decorative facing material must be opened in Shklov by the end of 2013. Production of this kind enjoys high demand in Belarus. It is also supposed to be exported to abroad.
The respective project has already been worked out by specialists. Its practical implementation will cost EUR 70 mln., first deputy prime minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Semashko told. Thus, crediting is needed, but expenditures will be recompensed within 4-5 years. Equipment for the new production line will be delivered by a Czech company.

PRUP «Krichev- cementnoshifer” reported of 2.2 times increase in cement exports within the 6 months of 2011 (comparing with the respective period of the previous year). Thus, the enterprise’s exports made up $4.7 mln, Alexander Mitin, deputy director in economics, told.
According to Alexander Mitin, such high rates of export resulted from dramatic rise in demand for cement in June. From January to May the export made up only 70% of the previous year’s export rate. But in June there were 5-fold increase in exports comparing with June of 2010, though the peak of cement exports usually occurred in July.

News-print plant in Shklov reached planned volume of production, - the head of “Bellesbumprom” V. Shulga told. The quality of paper satisfies all necessary requirements. Stable work of the equipment has been proved by 10% increase in planned production capacity reached in May. 85.5% of news-print paper produced (3,700 tonnes) is of “O” standard, i.e. of the highest quality, used for printing at high-speed printing equipment.

Klichev forestry makes about € 300,000 per year from sawdust. Production of briquettes from raw waste lumber was opened less then a year ago. According to a chief forester Oleg Selikh, 350,000 – 380,000 such briquettes are produced each month and exported abroad, mainly to Denmark and Germany. The project appeared to be very beneficial, as far as raw waste lumber costs nothing, and earlier the enterprise had to bother itself with waste utilization. Now the enterprise makes about € 100 per tonne of waste. Besides, the same briquettes from raw waste lumber are used in process of briquettes’ manufacturing.

RUE “Olsa” increased its exports by 30% in January-April comparing with the respective period of the previous year. Thus, the plant’s exports reached $4 mln., Vladimir Shutov, head of marketing department, informed.
The enterprise exports more than 60% of its production; 80% of Olsa’s importers are from the Russian Federation; among the others are companies and firms of the Ukraine, the Azerbaijani Republic, Kazakhstan. “According to the contracts signed with our constant partners for a year term, we sold the largest part of production last September”, Vladimir Shutov added.
