Golubaya Krynitsa (Blue Stream), a national monument of nature in Slavgorod district, is suffering from people’s avidity. The stream attracts a number of guests from all regions of Belarus and even from abroad. People say the water of the stream is able to heal. They also start taking clay from the stream. But healing properties of the clay have not been proved yet. Andrey Ryzhankov, the chief of Slavgorod District Inspection for Nature Resources and Environment Protection, says that extraction of clay ruins this nature monument.

The World Blood Donor Day is a day dedicated to thanking and celebrating voluntary non-remunerated blood donors. It occurs on June, 14. One of the main goals of the World Blood Donor Day is to ensure the availability of 'safe blood' for transfusion.

The motto of the day is “More blood means more life”. The day includes a number of events of blood donor propaganda.

According to Elena Nekrashevich, a chief of transfusion department of the Regional Hemotransfusion Station, every month the station provides 340 l of packed red blood cells, 700 l of fresh frozen plasma. In 2010 the station provided 18 tons of whole blood. 440 plasma donors and 900 blood donors visit the station every month.

May, 18 Bobruisk holds “Asthma-Day”. The centre of the action is the Town Hospital №1. The information is provided by the Public Healthcare Department of the regional executive committee. The purpose of the event is to introduce citizens with the information about modern methods to cure asthma, to stress importance of early detection of the disease.

This year 155 graduates of medical higher educational establishments will be employed at hospitals and polyclinics of Mogilev region, - healthcare department of Mogilev region executive committee informs. Among them are physicians, surgeons, anaesthetists. To avoid lack of medical specialists Mogilev region needs 440 young doctors each year. Paediatricians, ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists are in the greatest demand.

Gorki district hospital completed capital repairs. The hospital was built in the 1960-s. The gynecological division was the last to be reconstructed. And finally hospital professionals got a renewed building.

About 50,000 children of Mogilev region will improve their health during summer vacations for the account of the Republican and local budgets and state funds of social insurance, - the first deputy head of education department of Mogilev region executive committee Vladimir Ryzhkov told.

23,000 children will have rest and improve their health at 24-hour camps and 27,000 children – at daytime camps. Besides, 12,000 children from the areas contaminated after Chernobyl Atomic Power Station disaster will improve their health at sanatoriums for the account of the Republican budget.

Bobruisk got a new x-ray mobile caravan “Pulmo-express - 081”. The equipment was allotted by the Public Health Ministry of Belarus.

A new mobile caravan is supposed to be used for x-raying rural population. It will also be used to examine Bobruisk’s citizens.
